Coming up in February

Early Bird Walks
8.30am every day – join a member of our staff feeding the birds in the morning. A great way to get to know the locals.

Tuatara feeding
Watch the tuatara handlers hand-feed the prehistoric lizards at 9.30am on Wednesday and Sundays during February.

Visit the Fairy Spring
Be in quick to join this guided tour through brand new Waterfall Lakes and up to Fairy Spring (not normally open to the public). 1pm on Tuesdays through February.
$5 for Locals card holders, kids are free.  Normal admission price + $5 for non-local's card holders.

Murray’s Heritage Tour
Kids! Tag along with Murray as he feeds all our farm animals – sheep, pigs, donkey and more. 11.30am on Fridays through February and FREE for Locals Card Holders.  Normal admission price for non-locals card holders.

 

Coming up in March

National Children's Day - Sunday March 7th
This is a big day at Rainbow Springs - Kids go free all day!  Kids - just bring along an adult in your group and you can all come into Rainbow Springs for free!  There's a Teddy Bear's Picnic at 11am on the Fairy Lawn so bring along your best teddy mate and win some prizes!

Rainbow Springs Locals Weekend - Saturday 20 March & Sunday 21 March
This is the BIGGEST weekend of the year at Rainbow Springs - all Rotorua Locals are invited to visit Rainbow Springs for just a gold coin donation.  Your donation goes to the National Kiwi Trust which helps fund Kiwi Encounter and all the good work they do there raising for release back into the wild.
