Father's Day - September 5th!!
All Dads get in free to Rainbow Springs on Father's Day (with a paying child or other adult, or free if you show your Rainbow Locals Card)!  We've got the Sulphur City Rod and Custom Car Club onsite from 10am on the Waterfall Lakes lawn, and Steak Dogs and Beer & Burger Combos at Wairere Cafe.  Come on kids!  Take your Dad out to Rainbow Springs for Father's Day!

Distinction Hotel Wedding Expo - September 5th
If you're looking for a unique and new wedding venue for your wedding or ceremony, come along and have a chat with us at the Distinction Wedding Expo.  We'll be at stand 11 and we'll be happy to have a chat with you about your wedding.

A Night Out for Kiwi - September 18th, 7:30pm
This will be an awesome night with all the proceeds going towards saving our national icon - the kiwi.  A black tie cocktail function with charity auction to raise money for the National Kiwi Trust and Kiwi Encounter.  Guest speaker TVNZ6's Meet The Locals presenter, Nic Vallance with special guest MC Nathan Rarere.  Even Stacey Jones will be there!  There will be many, many wonderful auction items to bid on from art works to flights to Queenstown and Sydney; Pamper Packs to Adventure Packs, a silent auction, mystery auction items and even spot prizes.

Early Bird Walks
8.30am everyday - join a member of staff feeding the birds in the morning.  A great way to get to know the locals, a great chance to snap some fantastic photos.  See the kereru, tui, kaka, kea and other native birds dig in to their breakfast, and learn about the birds as you walk around.

Tuatara Feeding
Watch the tuatara handlers hand-feed these prehistoric lizards at 9.30am on Wednesdays and Sundays.  Tuatara don't move very often and eat even less!  Take advantage of this rare opportunity to see these dinosaurs in action.

Playtime with Jenny
Jenny loves nothing more than playing with her keeper.  Be there during playtime to watch the fun, learn about kea and chat with her keeper.  2.30pm Sunday - Thursday, 5pm Friday and Saturday.
