Fish

Another great attraction at Rainbow Springs Kiwi Wildlife Park is the fish species.

The long finned eel that has taken residence at the park is over 60 years old, these are a common species in New Zealand but are not well liked because of their slimy, snake like bodies.

The park is also home to many rainbow, brown and tiger trout who reside in the spring fed pools. You can feed them and watch them from the underwater viewing area.
